Barney meet a friend

Every day there are many dog walkers in Elizabeth park, and today Barney met another friend. I am sorry I never heard the little ones name...

The person in this photo said she was just up to the park to relax and read, on a sunny day, but she also said that she had walked around and looked at all the tulips , and said she was going to bring her camera next time.

I Like this Photo...

This photo is amazing, in the fact, how far a photographer will go to get a good angle no matter what it takes. The photographer said she wanted a back lit view..Seems she knew what she was doing...

Orange Tulips

Just a quick grab shot of one of the many varities of tulips at Elizabeth Park. I was one of many photographers this morning, on a bright and beautiful day...More to follow.....

Too Late

I see where Prez Geo Bush AKA "The DUH" is starting to get things started about the HIGH gasoline prices ,that are going out of sight all over the USA.. NBC new did a thing on it last night, and the more I see or read about it the more frustrated I get.. A lot of factors enter into it but I think GREED by the oil companies is the biggest draw back. I dread going to BJ's and filling up my tank.. George, I am afraid your "locking the barn door after the horse got out..."

Gold Finch on the Feeder

Wednesday morning 4-26-06... This is what awaits for me every morning when I come up to my computer room. I do look forward to seeing the Gold Finche's and the Woodpeckers, and any other birds looking for a free seed hand out...

Some of THIS Some of THAT

Monday Monday
No this isnt the Mamas And The Papas song. I am looking out my window on a Monday morning, excited about whats ahead in the coming week. I found that every day is an adventure, some large some small, but still an adventure. It all starts out by me going up to the park, and doing a few cross word puzzles that I down load from the internet. Doing them is what keeps my "GRAY MATTER" in good working condition. I have said this before, cross word puzzles are a sort of an EGO trip, showing how much trivia and knowledge one attains in their life time. If I could only slip in some of the words, that I have learned from doing the puzzles, while speaking to people, I am sure they would think I was real a literate.. What started off as a dreary day is turning into a nice sun shine and warm day, so there is a promise of something good to come along.. The point of my story is this thank GOD for every day you are living, no matter haw difficult things seem to be... Life would be so boreing if things were always the same old thing... Thats it for now, like Barney would say in dog speak "ARF ARF" which means "Ya all have good day"

A Tribute to Colleen

This tree a WEEPING CHERRY, planted in honor of one of my dear internet friends, Colleen, who passed away a few weeks ago, by her daughter Debbie, her sister Patricia [aka Sail.] and Paul her son.. I remember the first time I met Colleen, she was the height of cheerfulness, and always had a smile on her face, plus she was always ready to tell you a joke that would make you smile. I wish I had Colleen's e mail address in HEAVEN, I want to tell her that every body misses her..She was a joy to chat with and a special person to know God Bless Colleen...
