Too Late
I see where Prez Geo Bush AKA "The DUH" is starting to get things started about the HIGH gasoline prices ,that are going out of sight all over the USA.. NBC new did a thing on it last night, and the more I see or read about it the more frustrated I get.. A lot of factors enter into it but I think GREED by the oil companies is the biggest draw back. I dread going to BJ's and filling up my tank.. George, I am afraid your "locking the barn door after the horse got out..."

Some of THIS Some of THAT
Monday Monday
No this isnt the Mamas And The Papas song. I am looking out my window on a Monday morning, excited about whats ahead in the coming week. I found that every day is an adventure, some large some small, but still an adventure. It all starts out by me going up to the park, and doing a few cross word puzzles that I down load from the internet. Doing them is what keeps my "GRAY MATTER" in good working condition. I have said this before, cross word puzzles are a sort of an EGO trip, showing how much trivia and knowledge one attains in their life time. If I could only slip in some of the words, that I have learned from doing the puzzles, while speaking to people, I am sure they would think I was real a literate.. What started off as a dreary day is turning into a nice sun shine and warm day, so there is a promise of something good to come along.. The point of my story is this thank GOD for every day you are living, no matter haw difficult things seem to be... Life would be so boreing if things were always the same old thing... Thats it for now, like Barney would say in dog speak "ARF ARF" which means "Ya all have good day"

A Tribute to Colleen
This tree a WEEPING CHERRY, planted in honor of one of my dear internet friends, Colleen, who passed away a few weeks ago, by her daughter Debbie, her sister Patricia [aka Sail.] and Paul her son.. I remember the first time I met Colleen, she was the height of cheerfulness, and always had a smile on her face, plus she was always ready to tell you a joke that would make you smile. I wish I had Colleen's e mail address in HEAVEN, I want to tell her that every body misses her..She was a joy to chat with and a special person to know God Bless Colleen...

Photographing The Tulips....
The tulips are just now blooming in Elizabeth Park West Hartford, and there is no lack of photographers to take their photos. The tulips are ordered from The Netherlands every year, and the bulbs are planted around the middle of October, by the park crew. People come from many states to view them. There is a special parking area for the many tour busses...This is one of my favorite places to take photographs.. Every Saturday you can see 3 or more weddings taking place here.. Beautiful settings for a wedding album...

Friday and a lovely day in West Hartford. After walking around the tulip gardens I spied these two elderly ladies sitting on a bench talking a mile a minute in their native tongue, which I think was Russian. I like the blossoming tree in the back ground, but I dont know the name of it..

Gas Prices
Some where in an EXON office some CEO is really laughing his RICH ASS off at the American people. He knows that the driving habits of the people will not change, and they will continue to buy GAS GUZZLING V-8 Lexus and other SUV's. Mean while the poor people will continue to suffer. This is the first sign with the $3.00 price that I have seen in West Hartford, and expect it to go higher as the summer months and vacation times approch.. Do we thank President George Bush for this??? For those who read this and care I drive a 1997 Chevy Cavalier... BTW good luck to all you guys that needed [ like a the Boubonic Plague ] a 4x4 gas guzzling pick up truck.I will be the one laughing at you at the gas pumps...
